In a range of meaningful contexts, students will be engaged in thinking mathematically and statistically. They will solve problems and model situations that require them to:
- calculate volumes, including prisms, pyramids, cones, and spheres, using formulae.
Indicators
- Models objects using 3D shapes.
- Solves problems involving finding volume(s).
- Uses volume formulae appropriately.
